Zach is a director and photographer based in Toronto, Canada. His work in both film and photography are expressions of his immense gratitude for the natural world that surrounds us. Awestruck by its beauty, for years he has unflinchingly captured moments of tenderness, natural beauty, and magic, as an act of reciprocity.

As such, his work ranges across topics of environment, existentialism, and human identity and he often embraces an elevated, surrealistic style.

His films have screened internationally including at the Montreal World Film Festival, Long Island Film Festival, Seoul International Youth Film Festival, Toronto Shorts International Film Festival and Youngcuts.

His photography has been published by National Geographic, Skynews Magazine, Buchhalter Design Destinations Magazine, McMaster Global Health Journal, and Saxx Underwear.

Zach’s aim is to share his infectious love for our world with others, to invigorate and inspire, through stories told in still and moving images.

Zach received his BFA in Film Studies from Ryerson University.
